Cleaning motorcycle clothing places very high demands on the cleaning or maintenance agent used. It must maintain the functionality of the climate membranes, while the breathability properties must not be compromised in any way. At the same time, however, the fibers must be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for subsequent impregnation. S100 Laundry detergent has been developed specifically for this purpose. This preserves the breathability of climate membranes and perfectly prepares the ultra-modern fibers for the absorption of an impregnation spray.

The right application

Machine wash instructions:

S100 Put detergent in the detergent dispenser and wash the clothes according to the instructions of the textile manufacturer. S100 Laundry detergent can also be applied directly to heavily soiled areas before washing. If possible, select an additional rinse. Do not wash more than 2 items of clothing at the same time.

Hand wash instructions:

S100 Add laundry detergent to a sufficient amount of lukewarm water and rinse the garment. S100 Laundry detergent can also be applied directly to heavily soiled areas before washing. Then rinse thoroughly (preferably 3 times) with lukewarm water.

Why not normal fabric softeners:

Fabric softeners contain substances that envelop the fibers during washing, reducing the friction between the fibers. Therefore, the laundry feels softer afterwards. Textile impregnators work on the same principle. However, if the fibers have already been treated with fabric softener, these agents will not be able to adhere to the fibers. Effective impregnation is then no longer possible.
